Written from Scratch
Lansley came to us wanting to produce a commercial about one of their cosmetic products, wax beads used for shaving. We already knew that creating commercials about any kind of hygiene product can feel awkward if not done well, so we worked closely with our in-house screenwriter to create three different script variations from which Lansley could choose. It goes without saying that Lansley opted for the more humorous, quirky script, and we fully supported their decision!
Planned and Polished
To create a fresh, clean, and high-end feel that matched the script, we knew we had to find the perfect location and bring on professional actors to make it happen. Our team went through a rigorous casting process to find the perfect actors for each role. We scoured the area for the best location, then used our in-house wardrobe artists, makeup artists, and set designers to create a mini-movie set.
Short and Sweet
We thoroughly planned out each potential shot ahead of the actual shoot day to help us finish shooting the entire commercial in a single day. Throughout the set, the bright whites and pinks helped elicit the clean and soft vibe Lansley wanted customers to feel after using their product. We kept the footage warm and softened the color clarity to enhance the cozy and fresh mood of the final commercial during editing.
