Sound stages and cyc walls
Blackout stages with grid, power and a white, grey or green infinity wall for clean product, interview and brand work.
Sound stages, cyc walls, LED volumes, kitchens, offices, clinical sets, warehouses and private homes. We work out of a Los Angeles studio base and book everything else through our partner network, so a production can go almost anywhere the script asks for.
Send the scene, the dates and the look. A producer comes back within one business day with options that fit the shoot.
We source and book the space your video needs, then film in it. Rather than pushing every project into one room, we work through a network of partner stages, studios, venues and private locations across Los Angeles and Orange County, and pick whichever one serves the scene.
You do not deal with the space separately. We scout it, negotiate the day rate, arrange insurance and permits, bring our own lighting and camera package, and hand you finished video.
Sizes, looks and availability differ from space to space, so treat this as the range we can reach rather than a fixed catalogue. Tell us the scene and we come back with what is open on your dates.
Blackout stages with grid, power and a white, grey or green infinity wall for clean product, interview and brand work.
Video wall and LED volume stages for in-camera backgrounds, keynote looks and broadcast style sets without a location move.
Exam rooms, labs, treatment bays and hospital style corridors for healthcare, biotech and device video, on set or on a live site where access allows.
Modern workspaces, glass conference rooms and co-working floors that read as a real company rather than a rented backdrop.
Raw warehouse volume, loading docks, manufacturing lines and plant floors for logistics, industrial and B2B storytelling.
Architectural houses, canyon properties and modern interiors with the natural light and open plan that lifestyle and testimonial work needs.
Treated rooms with controlled acoustics and a designed backdrop for video podcasts, executive interviews and recurring series.
Storefronts, showroom floors and tabletop setups for launches, in-store campaigns and packshots.
Ballrooms, auditoriums, galleries and conference floors for keynote capture, multi-camera events and sizzle reels.
Working kitchens, from designer residential islands to commercial prep lines, for recipe, appliance, CPG and hospitality shoots.
Lecture rooms, research labs and campus exteriors for higher education, training and recruitment video.
Rooftop decks, terraces and downtown exteriors when a scene needs a real city behind it instead of a window flat.
The space we run ourselves: a cyc wall, a prop and set-dressing library, styled living and kitchen corners, and a hair and makeup station. Small shoots often never need to leave it.

Anything the studio cannot do, we book. The point is the shoot, not the room.
What decides whether the footage is usable is the power, the ceiling height, the sound floor, the load-in and the crew standing in it. That is the part we own.
Photos, measurements and a look at power, ceiling height, natural light and sound. If a space fails on any of those, it does not reach your shortlist.
We own our production package and bring it in, so the space does not have to come with gear and you are not paying twice for lighting.
Certificates of insurance, building access, elevator and dock reservations, and filming permits where the location or the city requires one.
A two person team in a small interview room, a full unit with grip, sound, hair and makeup and production assistants on a stage day.
Prop, wardrobe and set styling when the scene calls for it, quoted as its own line so you can see what it adds.
A shot list and call sheet built around the hours you have the space, so load-in, filming and load-out land inside the booking.
Four steps, usually inside a week from first message to a confirmed hold.
Rush dates happen. If the shoot is this week, say so in the first line and we will tell you straight away what is realistically still open.
You hire 7 Hills to make the video and the location is one line inside the project.
You already have a director and a plan, and you need the room and a local team in it.
Either way the number comes back itemised. The pricing page shows how a project is built up, and the budget estimator gives you a range in about a minute.
The space follows the video, not the other way around. These are the projects that most often need one.
Stage days, architectural interiors and real exteriors cut into one piece.

Cyc walls, tabletop setups and kitchens for product films and demos.
Product video production
Clinical sets and working facilities, shot to the rules the site operates under.

“Using exclusively 7 Hills Productions for the last 6 years.”
We run our own studio in Los Angeles and book everything else through a network of partner stages, studios and location owners. That is deliberate. Owning one room would mean pushing every brief into it, and a kitchen scene, an LED wall keynote and a warehouse film do not belong in the same space.
What we own everywhere is the camera, lighting and grip package, so the gear never depends on which location you pick.
Sound stages and cyc walls, LED video wall stages, kitchens, premium homes and estates, medical and clinical sets, offices and boardrooms, warehouses and industrial floors, retail showrooms, podcast and interview rooms, classrooms and labs, rooftops and city exteriors, and event venues.
Because Los Angeles has the deepest concentration of production space in the country and we are based here, most briefs have several workable answers rather than one.
Space on its own is not really what we do. We can source and book a location for you and put our own camera, lighting and grip package and a local crew in it, which is the closest thing to a rental day, but the value we add is the production around the room. If you only need four walls, we will say so and point you somewhere sensible.
Space is quoted per project because rates move with the type of room, the hours, the day of the week and how much gear and crew the location has to absorb. It is one line in the quote rather than a separate bill you chase.
A typical corporate or brand video lands between $6,000 and $15,000 with pre-production, a full production day and editing included. The video production pricing page breaks that down, and the budget estimator gives you a range in about a minute.
Two to three weeks is comfortable for most spaces and gives room for scouting, permits and a proper pre-production call. Popular stages and houses go earlier, especially on weekends and in the last quarter of the year.
Short notice is still worth asking about. Tell us the date in your first message and we will say honestly what is still open rather than string it out.
Yes. We carry production insurance and issue the certificate the location or building requires, and we file filming permits where the city or the property asks for one. Building access, elevator and loading dock reservations are arranged as part of the same job.
Often, yes. Live sites bring their own rules on access, privacy, noise and how much of the floor can be closed, so those shoots are planned around what the site allows. We have filmed in healthcare, higher education, manufacturing and retail environments and are used to working to a facility's conditions rather than against them.
Where a live site is not workable, a clinical or office set is usually the cleaner answer and reads the same on camera.
Los Angeles, Orange County and San Diego are where we are based and where our location network is deepest. We also travel, combining a producer and director from our team with vetted local crew, so a shoot in another city is run to the same brief and cut by the same editorial team.
Tell us the cities on the contact form and we will scope the space and crew for each one.
Describe the space you have in your head, the dates and roughly what the video is for. A producer comes back within one business day with real options and what each one costs.
