The brief

Ecommerce video is a volume problem, not a creative one. A catalogue with hundreds of products needs hundreds of videos, each one short, each one doing the same job: show the product, show the scale, show the material, remove the doubt that stops someone adding it to a basket.

What makes that possible is a production line rather than a series of shoots. A fixed studio set-up, a fixed shot pattern, a fixed edit template, and products moving through it in batches. The creative decisions are made once, at the start, and then applied hundreds of times.

Listing platforms each want something slightly different: duration limits, aspect ratios, whether text overlays are allowed, whether audio matters when most viewers watch muted. Every video is delivered in the versions the platforms actually accept rather than one master that has to be fixed later.

The economics only work if the per-unit cost is low, and the only way to get the per-unit cost low is to stop treating each product as a project.

How this work gets made

A production line

Fixed set-up, fixed shot pattern, fixed template. Products batch through it rather than each one starting from scratch.

Platform versions as standard

Durations and aspect ratios cut for each marketplace, not one master that gets rejected.

Built for muted viewing

Listing video is watched without sound. The edit assumes that rather than hoping otherwise.

Low cost per unit

The set-up is the cost. Once it exists, adding products is cheap.

Questions about this work

Can you handle a large catalogue?

Yes. Volume product video is a batching exercise and we are set up for it.

Do you deliver in Amazon and marketplace formats?

Yes, in the durations and aspect ratios each platform accepts.

How many products can you shoot in a day?

It depends on the product, but with a fixed set-up the number is high. Send the catalogue and we will give you a rate per product.

Tell us what you are trying to make

Send the goal, the audience and roughly when you need it. You get a plan, a range and a date back.
