Databricks: multiple crews, one content library
Event coverage run as a production operation rather than a single camera, so one conference produces a library instead of a highlight reel.

The brief
A large technology conference is a content opportunity that most companies waste. Everyone who matters is in one building for two days: customers who will give a testimonial, executives who will give a soundbite, partners who will sit for an interview. Then everyone flies home and the opportunity is gone for a year.
The way to capture it is not a bigger camera, it is more crews. We run several teams simultaneously across an event: one on a testimonial set, one covering the floor and keynotes, one moving between scheduled interviews. Each has its own kit and its own call sheet, coordinated to a single schedule.
That changes the arithmetic completely. A single crew might come away with a highlight film. Three crews come away with a highlight film, a dozen customer testimonials, a set of executive soundbites and enough B roll to cut brand pieces for the rest of the year.
The other half of the job is logistics. Scheduled interview slots, a set that does not need relighting between subjects, and a media workflow that can absorb several cards an hour without anything getting lost.
How this work gets made
Several crews, one schedule
Multiple teams working simultaneously against a single call sheet, so nothing on the floor is missed while an interview is running.
A set that stays lit
One testimonial set-up that subjects rotate through, rather than relighting for every person.
Media handled on site
Cards offloaded and backed up as the event runs, so nothing waits until the end of a long day.
A library, not a film
The deliverable is a set of assets that keeps working for a year, not one video that peaks in a week.
Questions about this work
How many crews do we need?
It depends on how many things happen at once. Tell us the schedule and we will tell you where a second or third crew pays for itself.
Can you film customer testimonials at our event?
That is usually the highest value thing you can do at an event. Your customers are already there, already in a good mood, and will not travel for a shoot later.
Do you deliver anything during the event?
Yes. Same-day edits are possible where the schedule needs something out while the event is still running.
What does event coverage cost?
It scales with crew count and days. There is a breakdown on the event video cost page.
