The brief
Finance is a category where video usually fails because it is written by compliance and shot by nobody in particular. The information is correct and nobody watches it. The brief here was to produce training and education material that people would actually finish.
What makes that work is treating a training film as a film. Someone who knows the subject on camera rather than a voice over stock footage, a structure that puts the useful part early, and a length set by the content rather than by a template.
Because this is a library rather than a single project, the important decisions were made once at the start: one set-up, one graphic system, one way of titling and one way of ending. Everything added later inherits it, which means the tenth film costs less than the first and still matches.
Alongside the training there is promotional work, made in the same visual language so the brand looks like one company across both.
How this work gets made
A system, not a project
Set-up, graphics, titling and structure agreed once, so every later film matches and costs less to make.
Subject experts on camera
A person who knows the material beats a voice over stock footage every time, including in compliance-heavy categories.
Useful part first
Training video is watched by people who want something specific. The structure gives it to them early.
Batched production
Several films from one shoot day, which is what makes a library affordable.
Questions about this work
Can you produce a series rather than one film?
Yes, and it is usually better value. Deciding the format once and batching the shoots brings the cost per film down considerably.
How do you handle compliance review?
Scripts go through your review before the shoot and the cut goes through it again before delivery, planned into the schedule rather than bolted on.
What does a training video cost?
There is a breakdown on the training video cost page.
