A True Passion Project
Google came to us intending to capture their Visionary Women’s Summit in Venice Beach, California, during mid-2018. The event planned to have many guests, speakers, and activities. It would be set up like a forum for women leaders across various fields to connect about essential topics that impact women today.
Woman-Run Meets Women-Led
Since 7 Hills Productions is already a brand created and run by a woman (Merve Tekin), it’s little wonder why we were so excited to take on this important video project. Our crew had to take many factors into account to shoot this live event, such as sound, timing, and tight crew member communication. We collaborated closely with the event planners to ensure that our team knew exactly what was happening throughout the event at all times, which helped us keep our cameras on all the most critical moments.
A Seamless Impact
During shooting, we utilized a team and leveraged multiple cameras to capture everything happening at the event simultaneously without missing a beat. We made sure to grab tons of B-roll footage, such as guests eating, engaging, and clapping, that we could cut into the final video.
